Boosting a few inches to a vertical leap is something every volleyball or basketball player and athlete wishes they could successfully gain.
If you are an athlete looking for a way to increase your sports performance then finding out how to use jump training programs may be a great choice for you. Learning how they can assist you can go a long way toward making them a useful addition to your sports exercise regimen.
Stand in an upright position with both your feet together and hands raised in the upward direction. You can tie weights around your ankles to increase the effectiveness of the exercise.
If you are performing this exercise with weights for the first time, then it is recommended that you should start with small weights. Now, raise up on the tips of your toes. Then go back to original position but in a slow and steady manner. Do 20-30 repetitions of this exercise.
So how do you know which jump program will work and which one will not? This is where I come in. I studied jumping in my undergrad of exercise science where I learned a few things of what to do and what not to do when it comes to jumping.
So I have reviewed many of these programs and some of them work well while most of them go against anything and everything that you should do. I would say about 9 out of 10 of them I would not recommend to any of my clients.
