Increase Your Vertical Leap Significantly

You don’t have that necessary height. But you want to be good in basketball. Well, you cannot dictate your genes and tell them to make you taller than you are now. The ebst you can do is develop that high vertical leap – and it is possible!

In any sports event, where athletes need to jump, vertical jump becomes one of the main key areas where improvement is required to compete with others. Jumping is an explosive movement, and can be improved with extensive training.

The first few exercises to increase vertical leap are the knee bends vertical jump exercise. To do this exercise stand straight, then slowly bend in your knees, but make sure your back is straight.

Slowly start crouching down as low as you can, however make sure it does not hurt. In case it does hurt, crouch till the height you are comfortable and do not feel any sort of pain. Speaking of dietary issues, the market is flooded with protein drinks and energy bars galore. Many athletes ask if they help, or which is better. Both will work, to tell the truth, but it’s more about taking it at the right time. You should take the protein supplement within 2 or 3 hours after getting done working out. Aim for about 40g of protein, 50-100g of carbs total.

Jump Rope
I’m just going to assume you already know what this is. Jump rope is extremely useful for building endurance. This is something that is incredibly important for athletes who want to be able to jump high during an entire game and not just the first quarter.
