A Way to Boost Your Vertical Leap

The Miami Heat Strength and Conditioning Coach Bill Foran said, “Leaping is a very explosive movement that can, believe it or not, be improved with proper training.” Well, he can never be more right.

By choosing to include the correct jump program in your sports exercise regimen you will be saving yourself a lot of time and effort. This is mainly because these programs have already done the needed research for you.

Because of this you are free to spend your time focused on increasing your vertical leap. The only caveat we are aware of when it comes to these programs is that in almost all cases you will need to have a sufficient level of fitness to start them.

So how to spot the good from the bad. You must be able to trust the site and the author of the program. Most of the time the author isn’t even who it says they are. Can you contact them? Do they give you a telephone number? If so, that is a good thing.

Leap on one leg to the highest extent you can attain. This should be done sequentially with no breaks for up to 30 periods. As you do it, stop, change legs and continue.

Throughout the history of sports, great athletes have reached their pinnacle from showing people their greatness in just one aspect of their game. In running, Michael Johnson is recognized by many as the best.

With 4 Olympic gold medals, and 8 world champion trophies, he holds the world record for the 400 meter relay, among others. He may not have been a great jumper, but he was a tremendous runner.
